Creator marketplace

Get people excited about your ideas, or get excited by others.

SptChck matches content creators with advertisers, sets a fair price, and holds the payment until the work is approved. Most of this market is small, and nobody serves it properly. That is where we start, not where we stop.

The calculator is free to use and does not require an account.

If you make things

You have an audience but no agent, no manager, and no idea what to charge. Brands approach you over DM and you cannot tell the real ones from the scams. Oftentimes you have to request payment multiple times.

If you sell things

You have $500 to spend. In most cities that does not buy a billboard, and an agency wants a retainer in the tens of thousands and weeks before anything runs. A creator with 5,000 engaged local followers would take the work tomorrow.

How it works

  1. Know what it is worth

Our free rate calculator shows what a post, video or story should cost, and exactly how it reached the number. Creators use it to set a rate they can defend. Advertisers use it to budget before approaching anyone.

  2. Best fits first, with the reasons shown

Advertisers see creators ordered by fit against their brief (budget, topic, audience size, engagement, location), with the reason each one placed where it did. Creators see campaign briefs with the budget already on the card. Messaging only opens once both sides agree, so nobody is cold-pitched by a stranger.

  3. Agree in writing

Every deal gets a contract: what is being made, when it is due, what the advertiser may do with it, and what the creator is paid. Both sides accept the terms before work starts.

  4. Payment on approval, without chasing

The advertiser pays up front and the payment is held until the work is approved. Creators know the payment is there before they film. Advertisers know they only pay for work they have seen.

Creators keep 97.5%. Advertisers skip the retainer.

Most platforms take 10–20% from the person who made the work. We take 2.5% from the creator, and nothing at all on gifted product, loans or trips. Advertisers pay a service fee on the deal rather than a monthly retainer, so a single campaign is a sensible thing to buy, and every creator arrives ranked against the brief with the reason they placed there.
